Hello again! I'm glad you stopped by

Hey, I’m Meg 👋

I thrive in creating spaces for other gorgeous women and girls to grow.

I believe life isn’t about having it all figured out, but about learning how to meet yourself and God where you are.
I love creating safe spaces for growth, joyous memories, honest conversations, and moments that help people feel a little less alone.
This page (and this work) is an extension of my heart ✨

I don’t claim to have all the answers; I’m still learning and growing every day and invite you to join the journey of "Flourishing with Meg."

Heart in Action -

2 years volunteer running kids ministry at church

March 2022 - December 2023

Took care all year round including the holidays up to 35 kids every Sunday. I got to teach the word of God and bring love and joy Jesus kids. I was given the responsibility to run an exceptionally kind hearted team of volunteers.

This gave me lots of experience in rostering, time management with the leaders and also leading a team of people. It also gave me skills to socialise with lots of parents of the kids. I build already on my communication skills with variety of ages, I was blessed with friendly talkative parents who taught me a thing or two. The age group I took care of and communicated with ages ranging 7 to 14 years old. I also prepared hours during week activties for the kids for Sunday the talks to the kids, I learnt how to communicate and cater for each age group. I spent hours before the services cleaning the room and preparing everything too so its equipped me with preparation also.

Wauchope Indigenous youth volunteering

2022 February - 2022 April

Every Friday night

Physical strength and stamina to keep up with the youth of Wauchope. I gained valuable insights into cultural perspectives and traditional knowledge, enhancing my empathy and understanding. This experience not only enriches my communication skills and ability to think quick on my feet, but also deepened my respect for this beautiful community. Additionally, working alongside Indigenous youth fosters my resilience and creativity, allowing me to strengthen my problem-solving abilities in real-world contexts.

Port Anglican Church volunteering kids club on Thursday

From August 2021 to February 2022, I improved my teamwork, initiative, problem-solving, quick thinking, and communication skills while working with people of all ages. This experience strengthened my adaptability and interpersonal abilities.

Nannying and Babysitting 5 years

Nannying and babysitting—I cared for many children from a variety of families in Sydney on a regular basis. This was also my first job, which highlights how much I genuinely enjoy working with children. T I gained valuable insights into child development, patience, and responsible caregiving, which continue to shape my approach to supporting and nurturing children today.

Destiny Rescue charity volunteering yearly

Since 2015, my mother and I have annually raised funds for a charity supporting young women trafficked overseas. Over six years, we transformed our home into a store, spending months preparing, and the community’s support helped rescue and empower these women, including teaching jewelry-making skills to help them earn an income.

Port Macquarie United Youth volunteering

From May to October 2022, I partnered with a great team to support around 60 children at youth events. It was a valuable experience in teamwork and engaging with diverse age groups, and I loved being part of their fun and growth.
